
After a transformative four-year tenure, Jun Jieh Wang will step down as director of the Taipei Fine Arts Museum (TFAM) on January 31, 2025. Under his leadership, TFAM achieved significant milestones, including launching the open-access "Exhibition Archive 1983–1994" and pioneering digital art initiatives through the TFAM Net.Open Platform. Succeeding Wang, Dejian Liu, deputy commissioner of Taipei’s Department of Cultural Affairs, will serve as acting director beginning February. Wang will return to academia as a professor of new media art at Taipei National University of the Arts.
