Hong Kong’s nonprofit art space Para Site has announced Alan Lo as its new board chair, succeeding Alan Lau, who steps down after 14 years of service, and Mimi Chun, who departs to focus on personal projects. Under Lau’s leadership, Para Site staged 89 exhibitions worldwide, collaborating with institutions like MoMA PS1 and the Rockbund Art Museum. Entrepreneur and arts patron Alan Lo, a board member since 2015, brings experience from roles with the Tate Modern and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. Lo aims to continue Para Site’s legacy as a pioneer in contemporary art innovation.
