Istanbul’s Dirimart Gallery is making its first international move with the opening of a new two-story gallery in London’s Mayfair district later this year. Known for showcasing Turkish artists such as Ayşe Erkmen, İnci Eviner, and Nuri Bilge Ceylan, alongside international names like Shirin Neshat and Tomokazu Matsuyama, Dirimart aims to foster cross-geographical dialogues and global collaboration. Founded by Hazer Özil in 2002, the gallery’s London expansion seeks to support emerging Turkish artists, promote intergenerational and regional diversity, and connect with the city’s vibrant art community through fresh exhibitions and ambitious projects.
