Dib Bangkok, Thailand’s first museum dedicated to global contemporary art, is set to open in December 2025. Founded on the collection of the late businessman Petch Osathanugrah, the museum will house over 1,000 works by more than 200 artists, including Thai icons like Montien Boonma and Rirkrit Tiravanija, alongside international names like Damien Hirst and Takashi Murakami. Housed in a repurposed 1980s warehouse in downtown Bangkok, its design by Kulapat Yantrasast blends industrial aesthetics with Buddhist-inspired clarity. The inaugural exhibition, themed Invisible Presence, will feature large-scale installations and sculptures, marking a bold new chapter in Thailand’s expanding art scene.
