
Art Basel Hong Kong (ABHK) has announced the shortlist for its inaugural MGM Discoveries Art Prize, set to recognize emerging artists with a USD 50,000 award and exhibition opportunities in Macau. The finalists—Shin Min (South Korea), Kayode Ojo (USA), and Saju Kunhan (India)—were selected by an international jury for their works exploring sociopolitical themes. Alongside the prize, ABHK revealed highlights of its 2025 edition, including collaborations with M+ on Ho Tzu Nyen’s Night Charades (2025) and curated sectors showcasing large-scale installations and Asia-Pacific artists.
